CSR’06 "Investing in the future"

The 1st International CSR conference at Bucharest, CSR’06 "Investing in the future" took place on November 8 and 9, 2006, under the high auspices of WBCSD and The Global Compact, two of the most prestigious global organizations that promote corporate social responsibility.With its almost 150 participants from corporations, media, governmental and non-governmental organizations, it was the biggest conference on this topic in Romania and Eastern Europe, at the time. CSR’06 gathered 15 international speakers with high CSR expertise and experts from international organizations, multinationals, NGOs, and SMEs.

CSR’07 "The Power to Change"

CSR'07 "The Power to Change" was focused on involving civil society, governmental bodies, private sector and mass media in a unique cooperation regarding CSR strategies and instruments. Following the CSR'06 tradition, the event focused on the most relevant CSR aspects: Business conduct, employee relationship, occupational health and safety, monitoring systems and community involvement. CSR'07 gathered representative actors from all the four sectors, both national and international level: private, public, civil society and mass media. A number of 25 international keynote speakers from 60, contributed to the streamlining of different conceptualizations and practices in the field.    

 


CSR’08 “Living the GREEN”

CSR’08 “Living the GREEN” focused on the most relevant CSR aspects in today’s economical and environmental context: business conduct, employee relationship, occupational health and safety, monitoring and reporting systems and community involvement. The added value brought by CSR’08 was strongly emphasized by 19 international keynote specialists from 47 speakers were from Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, Norway, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Croatia and Mexico; they delivered their presentations in front of up to 150 participants (over 61% private companies, 27% NGO’s, 2% public sector, 10% mass-media).
